10th Anniversary

The Child Development Initiative Alliance (CDIA) celebrated its 10th anniversary in March 2023. In addition to highlighting our achievements over the past decade, we established the READY Academy to further strengthen and optimise our work with young people. The READY Academy aims to help the next generation better plan their future through understanding their own interests and potential.

 

At the CDIA 10th Anniversary celebrations, the Chief Secretary of the HKSAR Government Mr Eric Chan highly commended CDIA’s accomplishments. He said, "CDIA has exemplified the belief that we must all do our part to nurture our next generation, extending opportunities for learning and career prospects for grassroots youths. Their dedication and efforts deserve our recognition and affirmation. CDIA’s work also aligns with the Government's 'Youth Development Blueprint' launched at the end of 2022, especially in regard to the goals contained in the ‘Exploration’ chapter. We encourage and support youths to actively explore and develop their talents so as to prepare them for the future in society. I am delighted to learn that, on its 10th anniversary, CDIA will continue to enhance and develop workplace education and training for young people through its new READY Academy. I have no doubt the Alliance will continue to shine in its role as a bridge, bringing together various sectors and succeeding with the READY Academy."
