Recent Activities

[21 January 2024] In 2023, 411 young people in Hong Kong benefitted from the Child Development Initiative Alliance's (CDIA) ongoing commitment to help grassroots youths identify suitable career paths, obtain work experience, and develop positive values. Over the past 10 years, CDIA has served more than 2,500 young people.

[21 January 2024] In 2023, 411 young people in Hong Kong benefitted from the Child Development Initiative Alliance's (CDIA) ongoing commitment to help grassroots youths identify suitable career paths, obtain work experience, and develop positive values. Over the past 10 years, CDIA has served more than 2,500 young people.

The Child Development Initiative Alliance (CDIA) celebrated its 10th anniversary in March 2023. In addition to highlighting our achievements over the past decade, we established the READY Academy to further strengthen and optimise our work with young people. The READY Academy aims to help the next generation better plan their future through understanding their own interests and potential.

Three years of social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted Hong Kong's economy and lifestyle. The effect on the development of Hong Kong youths was even more profound. Students were forced to shift to online learning and it was next to impossible for CDIA to arrange work experience opportunities for students due to preventive health measures that were in place at most businesses.

Greater Bay Internship 2021

• The original date for the "Greater Bay Internship 2020" programme was from July to August 2020; however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the programme did not carry out.Now, the programme will be extended to summer of 2021.
